These are a few of my favorite things, in no particular order:
1) Pampered Chef bamboo spoons. I use these every day, probably more than once a day. They work so well on my non-stick pots and pans. I love them so much that I have given a few away as gifts.
2) Grekin Institute skin care. My previous dermotologist created his own skin care line. It is fabulous for all skin types. I had to find something that would work while I was pregnant and nursing, which meant no salycic acid, benzohl peroxide, etc. This is all I use and it is amazing! Anyone can order his products, even if you aren't a patient. Just go to http://www.grekinskininstitute.com/ and you can order from the website.
3) My Angel perfume. It is heavenly, no pun intended.
4) Tupperware Ranch dressing shaker. We love homemade ranch. Well, not homemade completely, but from the packet. We usually buy a Sam's size of ranch seasoning and then mix it up in this Ranch shaker. We can totally taste the difference and have become quite the "Ranch snobs." No preservatives!
5) MarPac Sleepmate 980A, white noise machine. Averie named this a "Noisemaker." We actually own two of these. I give all the credit to my mother-in-law who gave them both to us as a gift. I love this so much that I gave one to each of my brothers for their babies. It is especially helpful when you have a new baby and you don't want to wake your older children during the night. We take it with us everywhere, it is small enough to fit in luggage!
6) Rubbermaid miniature (3 gallon) totes. I love these totes for my kid's toys (ex: tools, cars and trucks, fisher price little people, dishes, food, puzzles, crafts and activities, etc.). They are the perfect size and they are very sturdy. My kids even love to get inside them and pull each other around! I recently put a picture of what is to go inside on the outside of each bin so that Averie and Kempton would know how to organize their toys when cleaning up. I have about 10 of these and would like more, found ours at Lowe's. I love these so much that Cale recently surprised me with four more as a gift. He knows just the way to my heart!
7) Ikea Leksvik children's table. This is very practical, yet so cute! It looks like a grown-up table, but is tiny. This is definitely a favorite.
8) Bare minerals foundation. I love this for everyday wear. It has great coverage and feels like you are wearing nothing with spf 15. I also like their mineral veil, well rested for eyes, and warmth.
9) Pottery barn jewelry box. This is so pretty, a Christmas present from my hubby. You can have your initials monogramed on the glass, a personalized touch that makes it even more special.
10) Whirlpool Duet washers. These are everything you think they would be and more! With all the laundry we do as moms, it is worth every penny!
Here are a few guidelines to pass on: Try to think of "things" that anyone could purchase, not homemade...and no food.
Love this post! What a great idea and I am interrested in finding a few of your things.
