Winter is here and we are trying to keep busy.
Cookie Play dough: I got this idea from my friend Kim. The kids spent lots of time playing with their dough, then we baked them and they turned out so colorful and fun!
I doubled the recipe, divided the dough into baggies, and put them in the freezer. Now when I see bored kids, I hand them a baggie and they go to town!
A while back, Cale promised the kids we would go to Chuck-e-Cheese. I've been trying to avoid it because, well, yuck. Well, the kids finally got their wish and we had a great time. First off, we printed off a coupon from the Chuck-e-Cheese website and so it only cost us $20 for pizza, drinks, and 30 tokens. We had 2 1/2 hours of family fun. Can't beat that for a family of five! I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of this Chuck-e-Cheese, I am not kidding when I say it was spotless.

Wow, you found the only clean Chuck-E-Cheese in existance. Congratulations!
What is the cookie play dough recipe? Is it just sugar cookie dough, or do you have something special you use? (as you know, I'm a big fan of your recipes!)
The house looks great! How exciting to watch it all take shape. I can't wait to see the finished product!
Merry Christmas (Charlie Brown or otherwise)!!!
We love Chuck-e-Cheese! The one we go to is also VERY clean. The kids always have a great time. Hannah will ask me if we have tickets so we can go to Chuck-e-Cheese.
