4 weeks old tomorrow!

Brenna started smiling (on purpose) this week... we are pretty sure it is not gas. She often smiles with her eyes and will turn her head to look at any familiar voice. It seems as though she has a lot to say if she could talk, it's like she can hardly wait to join in on the fun, or should I say chaos. Grandma and I were so excited when we caught this on camera!

When we compare baby pictures of all our children, there are striking resemblances to both Averie and Kempton. It's almost like they are just clones of each other, it's amazing. Maybe I'll post some pictures to let you be the judge.

Averie having the "time of her life" at dance class.

Sometimes we worry about Kempton being sandwiched between two sisters. We think maybe he will forget he's a boy or something. Then, we witness experiences like these where instead of cuddling with his Valentine bear from Gran, he just chucks it, over and over again. Also, today when he got mad at Averie, he literally threw his little chair across the room. He wasn't throwing it at her, he just pulled a Bobby Knight in frustration. Although this is not perfect behavior, it is comforting to know he is still very much a boy... and a red-head.

Helping Grandma bake cookies.

Our precious little girls. After a long attempt at getting an over-tired Averie to go to bed, this finally did the trick. It only took a few lullabies for Averie to drift off into a sound sleep with her baby sister zonked beside her.

What a beautiful little baby, and beautiful family. It's sad that I haven't watched these little ones grow up, but at least I can witness it.

I'm tagging you. Go to my blog to find out how, why, etc.....
