Framing

Pin It Our framing is mostly finished (other than some of the details in the kitchen and master bath). The roof trusses are currently being built at a warehouse and will be delivered November 30th. So in the meantime we are working with the cabinet maker to design the kitchen and order all the cabinetry throughout the home. We also have to decide what material we want for the exterior (Hardie siding or stucco, stone or brick, etc). These choices will effect some of the framed exterior details like the entryway.

Cale's 46-foot garage. It doesn't look very long in this picture, but the back third bay is 26-feet long. Funny how a photo is distorted!

Averie is standing in the living room and the kitchen nook is off to the left. The ceilings are 9-feet (standard is 8-feet) and then will vault from there. There will be a fireplace in between the two windows in the living room. The framer was working on the nook, but there is a glass patio door to the right of that window and another window to the left.
