This year's fall lasted a little longer than normal (for Wyoming), and was absolutely beautiful, although I do miss the excessive amounts of trees in Michigan. This week was our first real encounter with snow. The best part for me was being able to run outside all the way up until...well...this week! If I were a narcissistic runner, I would continue throughout the winter, but I decided a long time ago that I wouldn't run by myself in the dark. It freaks me out. So...the treadmill will have to do until say next May?
Oops, I digress... back to the subject.
We continued the pumpkin patch tradition this year. We let the kids each pick out their favorite pumpkin (and I looked for a few flawless pumpkins for decor), they each hunted and took great efforts to find their perfect match. Look at the smiles on their faces as they show off their treasured pumpkins. Unfortunately about two minutes after this picture, all three were an explosion of tears! Being the AWESOME parents we are, we get up to pay for our pumpkins and realized we didn't bring any CASH and we are too far from civilization. In addition, our company of Mike, Denise, Tia and families had left, so we couldn't even mooch off of them! So...once again, count on Daddy and Mommy to disappoint! We are so lame sometimes.
Well, it was fun while it lasted:

Cute, cute, pictures. We didn't even make it to the pumpkin patch this patch so don't be to hard on yourself.
