This year Averie came into our room very worried that the Easter bunny didn't come. Her exact words were, "This isn't a very good Easter..." with a pitifully sad expression. She had convinced herself that the Easter bunny couldn't possibly weather the SNOW that had appeared overnight. I swear it felt more like Christmas with the "weather outside looking frightful." She had forgotten that the Easter bunny hides the baskets! Phew! The Easter bunny came through and they each got spring dress clothes, candy, and a video.
Kempton, looking very dapper!
Averie insisted on doing this little leg lift:
Our precious kids!
I love Easter Sunday. I love the reminder of its true meaning, that we will all be resurrected and live eternally because of the atonement of our Savior. Kempton gave a talk in church today all about Christ's death and resurrection and drew his own pictures to explain. It amazes me what the mind of a 4-year-old can grasp:
After church we enjoyed a FEAST at our place with Dad and Mom Perriton plus Sondra, (Paul...you rock!) and Joey. Tons of marvelous food and an Easter hunt. I only took videos of the festivities and fun.
