I have many excuses for getting so behind in my blogging. FIRST, we've been without a camera (it broke) since before Christmas so I haven't taken nearly as many pics as I normally do. I have borrowed Cale's mom's camera in the meantime. SECOND, our computer got a major virus that is still not fixed yet, we use Cale's work laptop for Internet. THIRD, the house of course. We are getting closer and there are so many decisions to be made. It takes up much of my brain power(the original date of March 7th has been pushed back a couple weeks...to be expected with building). FOURTH, my work clientele is building. I work three nights each week and am enjoying it. I also use these nights to work out, so I'm relieving stress AND getting paid! I am blessed to have a husband who supports my endeavors.
The following pics of our house are very outdated. Since these photos, the lights are installed, the hardwood floors are installed, the cabinets are partially in, the tile floors are almost done, and much of the finished carpentry is complete. Right now they are working on the stucco and stone outside. We still have several weeks ahead of us but we are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel! With five of us crammed in a 600-square-foot apartment, we have been in "survival-mode," to say the least.
