On Brenna's actual birthday, we all woke up pretty early (for a Saturday). She requested cereal for her birthday breakfast. Easy!

| We then opened presents from Grandparents and Dad and Mom. |

| We went to McCalisters for her birthday lunch and spent the day together as a family. |

| Her birthday ended with a movie at the dollar theatre in town. She invited her friend Madelyn to join us since she couldn't make it to her birthday party during the day. They all wore their pajamas because the movie (Puss in Boots) didn't start until 7:00 pm. The next day (Sunday) the plans were to go to Cheyenne to celebrate both Brenna and Grandpa Perriton's birthday. We got on the road after church and were looking forward to a yummy Sunday dinner and little party for the birthday girl. We didn't make it very far when we got to right before the pass and had to turn due to I-80 being closed. It was a real bummer, we had all three kids crying in the back seat. I was looking forward to meat loaf! But instead we had pancakes for dinner and tried to make the most of it. |
