Kempton's First Birthday

Pin It Has it been one year already? Kempton turned one September 2nd. We had a little birthday celebration with family and friends. We played running races and duck duck goose, ate pizza, and Kemptons tried to open presents (he was most interested in the wrapping of course). Averie was Kempton's "helper" and tried with all her might not to open all his presents. It took a lot of self-discipline to restrain herself from taking over. We then finished the celebration with cake and icecream cones.

Kempton is such a sweet, cuddly, and sensitive baby. He can't resist smiling, even if he is grouchy. He loves to flirt and is such a charmer. Lately, he has become very busy and loves to crawl up the stairs, quickly follows his sister and cousins, and push buttons. We can tell he just wants to be like the bigger kids. We are teaching him sign-language and today he signed back "All done." We think he is on the brink of walking. He is such a blessing to our family.
